Drew Regitsky had a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Drew Regitsky then moved on to receive his Master of Science in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University in 2018. Drew Regitsky is currently a Postdoctoral Scientist at Google DeepMind.Before joining DeepMind, Drew Regitsky was a Postdoctoral Scientist at Google DeepMind. There he developed a deep learning algorithm for speaker recognition. His work included a study of human conversation Gabriella Contreras, VivekAggarwal, Garrett Brockman, and Drew Regitsky , “A deep learning speaker recognition algorithm using well-mannered conversations”, 35th Annual IEEE International Conference on Artificial Intelligence (ICAI), pages 519-522, 2018.

Drew started his career in computer science in 2002, working at Google. After several years at Google, Drew decided to move on to a new project and took the first opportunity that came his way. Drewfound himself in the company of a lot of teams and was responsible for developing code for a number of different products.Drew returned to Google in 2006 as a Junior Engineer. He was responsible for developing the code for the Google AdSense program and made a lot of changes to the codebase. One of the changes was the introduction of Hootsuite, which Drew was the first engineer to implement.In the fall of 2009, Drew left Google to take a position as an Engineer at Quora. His primary responsibilities were developing a system that tracks and grades Ask Weibo questions, and developing a product for the company’s website.Since leaving Quora, Drew has also been working on a product called Pump that migrates Rowachi data center infrastructure to the cloud. Drew has also been working on a project called Heroku which makes it very easy for developers to launch applications on the Amazon Web Services cloud.
