After completing her graduate degree in Mental Health Counseling, she began working as alicensed counselor. For almost 20 years, Dr. Gilbert has been providing blended mental health services to individuals and families, most recently as the CEO of Behavioral Healthcare Executive (BHECO). Dr. Gilbert has experience in developing and managing programs in mental health and addiction, as well as leading and managing teams of mental health professionals. In her role as CEO of BHECO, Dr. Gilbert created and led a program that provides treatment and Prevention services to individuals struggling with addiction and mental health issues. In addition, as Vice President of Program Development at Rehab After Work, she was responsible for developing and implementing new programs and strategies to improve Rehab After Work programs. Additionally, she was also responsible for leading and managing the attempts to open new Retreat Premier Addiction Treatment Centers in various states.
