District Manager @ Responsible for ensuring a safe environment at all Airgas facilities. Ensure that all branch personnel are walking the talk with regard to safety. Manage the sales force for organic top line growth. Direct responsibility for key customer accounts. Manage branch assets to ensure Airgas will be the fastest to market. Responsible for execution of Core Strategy activities in the branches and throughout the District. Ensure branch planners are in place at all branches and take responsibility for execution. Maintain the stocks of gases and HGs at all locations to ensure high fulfillment. Ensure that branch associates and field sales associates are adequately trained and focus on the details of our customers’ needs and requirements. Focus on increased accuracy and SAP proficiency. Optimize profit margins through execution of plans and strategies communicated from Regional and Area. Maintain operation expenses in line with Gross Profit goals, customer service, and growth plans. Execute on plans to realize the strategic pricing targets. Provide support for the transition of sweet spot customers to the Total Access program as well as target customers for any new TA initiatives that are developed. Ensure effective collaboration, teamwork, and communication throughout the District. From October 2013 to Present (2 years 3 months) Area Branch Operations Manager @ Responsible for the critical issues of branch operation and profitability, including budgeting, gross margins, operating expenses, safety, customer service, inventory, equipment, building and vehicles, community relations, accounts receivable and resolution of personnel issues. The Area Branch Operations Manager will monitor Branch operations including gas cylinder processing; gas and equipment inventory tracking and storage, and equipment testing and maintenance including compliance with all FDA, DOT, OSHA and other State and Federal regulations. From April 2012 to October 2013 (1 year 7 months) Construction/Safety Sales Manager @ Lead, supervise, manage, motivate and train Sales Specialists engaged in the sales and distribution of construction and safety supplies. Manages safety and construction sales activities for the region to promote the entire Airgas offering. From November 2009 to April 2012 (2 years 6 months) Construction Sales Specialist @ Responsible for sales growth of construction products. Work with account managers to develop increased awareness of existing customers of all the solutions and products Airgas offers with primary focus on construction products. Work with Customer Solutions and other specialist to setup new vendors as needed to support construction sales. Communicate with safety specialist opportunities for safety products and receive opportunities for construction sales. Work to develop strong relationships through good communication and excellent customer service. From October 2008 to November 2009 (1 year 2 months) Product Specialist @ Product Specialist for Bosch power tools. Worked with end user to promote brand awareness and drive sales for distribution. From December 2007 to October 2008 (11 months) Assistant Construction Manager @ Manage Construction of single and multi-family homes. Maintain Schedule and monitor production of trade partners. Inspect work for quality and completeness after each trade completed it scope of work. Process contract and non-contract purchases orders and approved work for payment as required. Schedule and walk inspections with local jurisdiction and/or independent inspectors as required. Monitor and inspect SWPPP requirements for deficiencies. Schedule implementation of corrective actions and reviewed as needed with trade partners. Conduct site safety inspections to determine potential hazards and risk factors to be considered to ensure all trade partners are in compliance with OSHA regulations. Consult with trade partners on ways to control hazards in order to reduce or prevent losses. Influence trade partners to implement recommendations. Work with community team to create a positive experience for homebuyers and trade partners by creating clear expectations for all parties. From November 2004 to December 2007 (3 years 2 months) Owner/Operator @ Estimated, Bid, Scheduled and Purchased materials; Built and installed all phases of projects. Custom Cabinetry, Finish Carpentry, Baseboard, Crown Molding, Custom Mantels Home Upgrades, Tile & Wood Floors, Tile Counter Replacement, Upgraded lighting. Prepared and submitted documentation for required building permits. From July 2003 to November 2004 (1 year 5 months) Project Superintendent @ Responsible for managing remodeling of kitchen, baths and whole house projects. Manage relationships between Customer, Contractors and Store. Review project product orders to ensure proper quantities and materials are included. Review project with designer and prepare for close sale meeting with customer. Track and expedite as required materials after project sale. Schedule product deliveries and contractors for project. Generate and monitor project timeline. Receive and inspect product received at job site. Communicate with customer and manage expectations including the risk of hidden damage from water and/or pests that could be exposed during the demolition process. Manage change orders, quality punch list and lien waivers (draws).
