I am team leader of the Lead Generations team. My team consists of around 35 people and is a powerful combination between our Marketing Communications team and our Pre Sales team. We focus on telling the TOPdesk story to our prospects as clearly as possible and generating leads for our Sales teams. We do this for the Netherlands, but my team also supports TOPdesk in Poland, the USA, Canada and our partners, all from our headquarters in Delft.
For years I combined touring with the band ‘Mala Vita’ and working as a project-leader in the event business. We played at some of the biggest festivals such as Sziget, Lowlands and Liberation Day festival where we had a show for 42.000 people(!). I’m very happy to have done some amazing projects for Disney, Coca-Cola, Art Rotterdam, Summer carnival, Bodies The Exhibition Saint-Petersburg, Dunya Festival, Streetmasters and so on.
Looking for more stability in my life I decided to find a steady job without losing what I stand for: creativity, entrepreneurship and making the world a happier place.
I found this at TOPdesk, where the culture is based on freedom, trust and responsibility. A company that has the goal to make the lives of other people easier by optimizing the processes of IT, Facility Management and HR. Here I found a job as an accountmanager in office sales where I first came in contact with Sales as a profession.
Sales soon became a passion for me. What I quickly discovered is that being a good salesman isn’t about being able to sell anything to anyone, but to truly believe in your product and find out which companies have the need for that product and can truly prosper by using it.
