💼 Past Experience

I have been a software engineer for the last five years. My last position was as Director, Engineering Tools at Netflix where I managed all the engineering tools for the Netflix website and the Netflix web applications. I first got interested in software engineering when I was in college, and I started working on my own projects. I mostly worked on C++ and Python. I also worked with Scheme and Tcl. I transferred to Netflix in May 2013 from May 1998 to May 2013. I was a software engineer at Clareos where I did software engineering research. I first got interested in research when I was a graduate student at Michigan State University. I started working on a project with the research team and then transferred to Netflix. I am currently a software engineer at Solution Point where I work on devices and cloud services. I work closely with our internal partner, certification, and product focused teams to design and to implement security-related features in devices and cloud services while preserving a great Netflix customer experience. I also work with studios on evolving content security requirements and with device partners on advancing the platform security of the Netflix-enabled devices. My hobbies include playing the violin, writing, and spending time with my family.
