Prior to establishing her own company, Ms. Montenegro served as Vice President of Human Resources Terremark Worldwide Inc. At Terremark, she spearheaded all of the company’s human resource functions and expansion following the acquisitions of multiple companies around the world. Ms. Montenegro has held various executive level positions in her professional career previously working at Penn Nation Gaming, Inc. At Penn Nation Gaming, she directed the human resource expansion project for the most profitable property within the company, which had more than 1,000 employees. Ms. Montenegro implemented several programs to decentralize human resource functions to a property level including all benefits management and administration, legal employment issues, administration of union grievances, training and employee development. Ms. Montenegro previously worked as Vice President for Carnival Resorts and Casinos and as Director of Human Resources for Doral Golf Resort and Spa. Ms. Montenegro received her Bachelor’s degree in Finance and her Certificate for Management Development in Training from Florida International University. She also holds her Human Resource Development certification from the University of Miami.
