💼 Past Experience

In my time at the Kauffman Foundation, I mentored over 100 students and delivered numerous presentations on entrepreneurship. I also spent time working with start-up companies, shadowing and studying their CEOs, and working on various research projects. I believe that my experience as a mentor and researcher will help MBA students in their entrepreneurship journey.I also have experience working with startups in the private and public sectors, offering my students access to invaluable resources and lessons from the best and brightest.

🎓 Education

Diana Kander has a juris Doctorate from Georgetown University Law Center, where she was a law professor from 2002-2005. She also has a B.A. from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, where she was a political science student. Kander's schooling gave her an understanding of the law, as well as a foundation in political science which she used in her work as a juris doctor.Kander has a long history of engagement and activism. She is a board member of the Justice Association of New York and has served on the board of directors for the New York Civil Liberties Union, the Institute for Democracy and Technology, and the Groupe pour la civilisation en danger. Kander has also been a vocal proponent of human rights, writing speeches, articles, and grants on the topic.Kander has a wealth of experience in the legal field. She has worked on legal cases, most notably as a lawyer for the Justice Association of New York, where she helped build its opposition to the proposed Real ID Act. She also has experience as a litigator and won dozens of cases in federal court, most notably a case against the New York State Department over its attempt to stop the city of New York from hosting the voting rights exhibition "In Defence of Freedom."Kander is also experienced in strategic planning and development. She has worked on projects such as the development of the Greater New York city homeless policy, the management of the city's port, and the design and development of new public buildings.Kander has a clear work readiness background. She is experienced in legal work, strategic planning, and development, and is well-prepared to start a new legal job. She has strong passions and commitments to the work she does, and is committed to being more effective and efficient in her legal work. She has also developed an understanding of how legal systems work and how to navigate them in a negotiation.

💡 Technical & Interpersonal Skills

Additionally, in 2014, I was a keynote speaker at InnoVente, a technology and business conference in New Orleans, LA. In that speaki, I discussed how to create and execute a successful pitch at an event like InnoVente. I also spoke at the Missouri Tech Forum, a business and technology forum in Columbia, MO in September of that year, about how to create an innovation-ready company.
