Mr. Lal has direct experience in leading large scale initiatives which have included statewide payor and reimbursement strategies, ACO development, revenue-cycle management, long-range financial planning and analysis, process improvement and ‘rapid redesign’ for medical group operations, Hospital service-line development, as well as Medical Group valuations for mergers & acquisitions. Dhyan received his B.S. in Health Administration from California State University, Northridge and holds a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Saint Mary’s College of California. Dhyan has been recognized for his excellence in healthcare and was awarded the Roy C. Upton Scholarship from the American Guild of Patient Account Management in 1993. In addition, he co-authored a research abstract on "The Relationship between Primary Care Referral Rates and the Utilization of Orthopaedic Specialty Services", which was presented at the 1998 American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons’ meeting in New Orleans, LA. In 2010 he was selected to be a member of the Exchange and Insurance Reform Advisory Group as part of the Joint Select Committee on Health Reform for the State of Washington.
