Technical Account Manager @ At Google I work on solving technical problems, developing internal tools, and finding customized technical solutions for publishing customers across the sales life cycle. I work cross-functionally with Global Business, Product and Engineering teams to monitor products' performance, develop tools, and identify opportunities to scale and grow Google's business. From August 2015 to Present (5 months) Greater New York City AreaResearch Scientist @ In the Electronic Systems Laboratory at GTRI I worked in a group researching collaborative engineering of systems. Applying theory from the discipline of systems engineering, I developed web applications that allow delivery of research efforts to real world usage. My primary responsibility was the client-side architecture of the applications. I also worked across the stack including the django backend applications, the Mysql, Mongo, and Redis databases, and the server provisioning and deployment using Vagrant, Ansible, and Packer. From May 2014 to July 2015 (1 year 3 months) Washington D.C. Metro AreaTeaching Assistant @ For course CS 3510 Design and Analysis of Algorithms under Professor Maria-Florina Balcan, I held office hours for questions and supplementary teaching. I also graded homework and tests. From January 2014 to May 2014 (5 months) Software Engineering Intern @ At Yahoo! I contributed to developing common components and using them to enhance Yahoo’s popular Media sites (News, Sports, etc.).These components were reusable across a full range of browsers, devices, contexts, as well as being internationalized and accessible. In addition to supporting existing work of this team, I worked individually and in teams on new and innovative projects dealing with media content and monetization. From June 2013 to August 2013 (3 months) Software Developer @ Digital Assent is a technology start-up which provides PatientPad a comprehensive tablet solution for modern health care practices. Our approach was a single-page tablet-based web application, targeted specifically for the iPad. Working directly with the CTO/co-founder on a three to eight person team I contributed to the core product. My projects were self-driven with loose requirements across the full stack and by necessity on a fast-paced cycle which included migrating a legacy adobe air check-in app to a re-designed web-based solution, intuitive and dynamic content selection for practice offerings of products and services, a media controller to dynamically and judiciously serve custom altering of media files for ever changing uses and screen resolutions. From January 2012 to December 2012 (1 year) Mentorship @ The MaxLab in the Department of Neuroscience at Georgetown University simultaneously investigates human visual processing and pushes the envelope of computational models for human vision by designing and training the model with observed human behavioral and fMRI data. Of the two limiting aspects of the computational model, accuracy and speed, I worked on increasing the speed of the model by developing parallel optimized Matlab hooks to utilize GPU computation. Using Nvidia's CUDA library for C I worked specifically on accelerating various matrix operations used with high frequency within the model such as applying filters and convolutions. From August 2009 to August 2010 (1 year 1 month) Research Intern @ The Center for Social Complexity creates and applies computational modeling to social research yielding answers to questions from foreign leaders, domestic municipalities, corporations, etc. At the center I implemented of a multi-agent modeling simulation using general purpose GPU computing. I demonstrated that performance with GPU implementations was correlated with agent complexity as more basic agents lent themselves to the massively parallel format. From May 2009 to August 2009 (4 months)
