Fully accountable for P&L ($50M) for a team of 40 across the Eastern US. Negotiated pricing contracts with hospital systems and trained sales staff and surgeons on the comprehensive product portfolio ensuring procedural reproducibility. Select Highlights:- Joined NuVasive, Inc. as a member of the transition team to assist in the integration of PCM® into Nuva’s innovative portfolio.- Developed successful patient follow-up strategy to ensure study sites met FDA mandated follow-up compliance thresholds, resulting in a >10% increase in two-year patient follow-up rate.- Served on the Surgeon Education team and led opening of NuVasive’s East Coast Office, including modifications to design, hiring of staff, equipment acquisition, procedure development, and facility launch, ahead of schedule and >10% under budget. From 2009 to 2010 (1 year) Director Spinal Motion Products @ Cervitech, Inc (a LINK company) Held leadership role for the innovative company focused on clinical approval of the PCM® cervical disc system, a motion preserving total disc replacement device. Hired as the second full-time US-based employee responsible for execution and completion of the pivotal US IDE study. Recruited IDE study sites, trained IDE surgeons, and recruited patients to fully enroll in the study.Select Highlights:- Doubled site activation in the first 12 months and met and exceeded enrollment goals for each center through the implementation of a patient-centric website and NPR radio spots.- Attended >200 study cases to ensure surgical technique compliance and ultimately, successful patient outcomes and FDA approval- Contributed to discussions and negotiations resulting in the sale of Cervitech to NuVasive From 2005 to 2009 (4 years)
