Dean Sittig's education and work readiness background is based on his experience as a biomedical scientist and medical informatics professor at the University of Utah. Dean Sittig earned his Ph.D. in medical informatics from the University of Utah in 1988 and his Master of Science in medical engineering from Penn State University in 1984.During his time as a professor at the University of Utah, Dean Sittigpaper between 1982 and 1984 on the development of software for control of artificial limbs.
