Vice President, Global Marketing & Key Accounts @ Reporting to the President & CEO, corporate responsibility for global marketing, key accounts and product management for the agriculture and infrastructure divisions. From May 2015 to Present (6 months) Greater Omaha AreaGeneral Manager, Power Plants & Key Accounts @ Led a global team comprised of over 40 professionals from 16 different countries based in 6 regional offices (Houston-TX, Lafayette-IN, Geneva-CH, Kiel-DE, Mannheim-DE and Dubai-AE). Department was responsible for global sales, delivery and installation of large reciprocating internal combustion engine technologies for land based electric power plants. Directly led or participated in contract negotiations in over 25 countries; setting numerous sales records and enabling a dramatic increase in Caterpillar’s market share and installed capacity. Assumed the GM position after Caterpillar Power Generation Systems (CPGS) integrated with the Electric Power Gas business unit of Caterpillar's Electric Power Division to form Caterpillar Energy Solutions (annual revenues of $1 Billion). Position was responsible for global sales of engine technologies from both the Caterpillar Motoren and Mannheim (www.mwm.net) production facilities and all project execution related activities for associated equipment supply contracts (ESC) and engineering, procurement & construction (EPC) projects. Team also managed the establishment and maintenance of relationships with strategic 'named accounts' with whom Caterpillar Inc. had the pleasure of doing business. Consistent with this new role, team grew from 22 employees to over 40; including full time and contracted resources.
