From July 2015 to September 2015 (3 months) London, United KingdomAccount Executive (Placement Year) @ My role on both Carlsberg and Britvic (Robinsons and Fruit Shoot) accounts broadly involved : ► Working in partnership with the project teams to deliver insight-driven ideas. ► Developing a clear understanding of the creative process and I took a lead role in briefing specific projects, such as Fruit Shoot’s recent tie up with the Angry Birds franchise and the social media focused Tetley’s “Pass It On” Rugby League campaign. ► Specifically involved in briefing the creative and technological teams on the development of the successful Carlsberg Fan Squad campaign which had a digital presence through the creation of a unique mobile application, social media activation and an online hub. Working on the campaign allowed me to also develop my skills using Google Analytics and Excel through implementing consumer fulfilments. ► Taking responsibility for and delivering research projects as required. ► Organising and attending monthly store visits which allowed me to become a champion of competitor activity and retailer updates. ► Providing frequent market news updates both internally to the wider FMCG team and externally to clients to keep them abreast of recent activations and innovations within the marketing sector. ► Proactively providing timely project status information and contact reports for manager and team. ► Learning about budgets, good financial planning and processing the day-to-day costs of projects as required. ► Human Connections - Whilst on the placement programme at TMS, I was set the challenge of bringing to life real human insights and connections. Along with my colleagues we were asked to seek out unique and diverse groups of people who are often under-represented in the marketing world and see how they came together as they got ready for a night out. Founded in 2010 and part of the Asoria Group of companies, The Property Recruitment Company aims to revolutionise the recruitment process across the property, construction and facilities management sectors. Whilst working at the Property Recruitment Company I did the following: ► Regularly updated the company's website on a day to day basis, posting new job descriptions. ► Wrote regular posts for the company's blog on topics that were of interest within the recruitment sector. ► Engaged in constant interaction with the company's clients, this allowed me to further develop my communication skills. ► Managed the company's social media presence and introduced new ways of building the organisation's popularity. From August 2013 to August 2013 (1 month) Social Research Assistant @ I worked with expert researchers and consultants, with whom my main role was to help clients who want to improve public services and get the most from their limited budgets. ► Through my day to day engagement with clients, I developed my interpersonal skills. ► Having to meet targets every month allowed me to understand the pressures of working in an intense professional environment. ► My computer literacy skills were developed further with me having to access and manipulate client's data on a day to day basis; I developed a strong level of competency on Microsoft Access.
