David Wong was born and raised in Hong Kong. David Wong started his undergraduate studies at Wuhan University in Hubei, China in March of 2004. Upon graduating from Wuhan University with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, he returned to Hong Kong and started his undergraduate studies at the University of Hong Kong. He completed his undergraduate studies in the spring of 2007 and then spent two months working as a software engineer at a web development company. After two months of working at that company, he moved to San Francisco and started his graduate studies at the University of California, Berkeley. They both fell in love with each other and decided to come to America and marry. He has worked at Amazon for four years, most recently as a software development engineer II. He has experience in the areas of computer science theory, data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design. He has also worked as a backend developer in Rails, schema design, SQL queries, and REST API.
