This product was mainly designed for service providers, but also had applications in enterprise environments as well. I worked in the sustaining department for the product fixing defects and implementing customer requested features. Although I fixed bugs and implemented features in many areas of the product, my main concentration was in the security related components and was always heavily involved in security related issues.
Worked with the C, C++, and Lua languages.
Developed and maintained Session Border Controllers (SBC).
Worked in a Linux test and build environment.
Was responsible for resolving defects.
Debugged crashes and memory leaks.
Implemented new customer requested features and wrote function specifications.
Was active in commenting and participating in functional specification and code reviews.
Extensive work with TLS and OpenSSL.
Extensive work with SIP.
Worked with other security aspects of the product. From June 2013 to Present (2 years 7 months) Associate Software Engineer @ On February 4th, 2013 Oracle Communications announced that it had entered into an agreement to acquire Acme Packet. This occurred two weeks after I began working for Acme Packet. From January 2013 to May 2013 (5 months) Associate Software Development Engineer @ I was a contributing member of the R&D department and participated in the development of their Hindsight G2 platform. The main product I worked on was media recording software, primarily targeted at public services and the Department of Defense. Being a member of a small company meant my projects and roles were diverse, but the primary focus was on front-end development, back-end service development, database design and implementation, and supporting legacy software.
Worked with the C, C++, Managed C++, C# and SQL programming languages.
Worked with Microsoft SQL Server, designing, implementing and supporting databases.
Collaborated to create the Quality Assurance web client for the Hindsight G2 Platform.

Worked closely with QA specialists to resolve issues within Exacom's products.
Implemented several SOA based web-services. From January 2011 to January 2013 (2 years 1 month) Overnight Receiver @ Worked full time while attending school on a full time basis. I spent most of my time in the frozen food section. Stocking shelves, zoning, managing inventory, utilizing backroom machinery, and assisting customers were daily occurrences.
