David Murgatroyd's education has prepared him for a career in computer science and speech processing. He graduated from Trinity High School in 1992 and then attended Rice University, where he obtained his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science in 1995. He then moved to University of Cambridge, where he began his Master of Philosphy in 1999. There, he studied computer speech and languageprocessing, and learned how to apply mathematical methods to solve problems in this field. His concentration on this area allowed him to achieve excellent results, making him a successful scholar in this field.
