đ Summary
Leadership and empowerment of my teams are the key drivers in my daily business life and I have been doing this with a business driven technology focus across several industries for more than 25 years. The Online/Digital world has been where my passion lies in the last 15 years and consequently I have much experience to offer here. Whilst coming from a solid software development background, I have grown my passion to understand all areas of technology and business. This has led me to be involved in just about every aspect of both corporate and start-up businesses from Business development to In-Life Operations. I am particularly enthusiastic when someone has a great idea but doesnât know how to deliver it or position the business around it â I have helped both large and small companies achieve success in this sense, including shaping the Product and defining technical strategy and delivery management for both internal technical teams and third party vendors. I have strong planning skills and experience, which I find useful to align Agile development approaches into a wider programme plan that requires committed delivery dates. The most exciting part of my career is working with and providing leadership for teams of highly capable people - I have been told I have an energy and character that inspires others to get involved! Areas of specialism: Stakeholder Management, Building teams around a business/product/proposition, Operating model transformation, Strategic Programme delivery, Agile meets Programmes strategies, Digital service transformation, offshore/nearshore delivery management, Software Engineering culture creationHead of Software Engineering @ Leading the Online Technology team through a Digital First programme of delivery for Online Sales and Service - KPI focussed strategy around Online Sales channel ramp up and Service call deflection to the Online Channel.
