💼 Past Experience

David Buckner began his career as a draftsman in the engineering consulting firm of Booz, Hamilton and Company in 1987. He then spent two years as an engineer at General Electric, where he worked on advanced solar technology products. He joined Solar Energy Systems, LLC (SES) as a general contractor in 2000.Since joining SES, Dave has conducted a wide range of solar energy project work, including installs and replacements of photovoltaic systems for businesses and residential customers in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware. He has also supervised the installation of a number of large-scale renewable energy systems, including a nearly 1300 kW solar energy power plant in East Orange, NJ.Dave has a Ph.D. in Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
