💼 Past Experience

DavidBrain has over 20 years of experience in human resources, including experience as both a CEO and President. He first acquired his experience in human resources when he was the President of DJB & Sons Inc., a company located in Bonita Springs, Florida. There, he served as the owner and Operator of Enzo's Italian Ristorante, a restaurant located in Bonita Springs. David Brain also worked as a HR Business Partner at YRC Worldwide, during which time he was responsible for the HR efforts at Eaton Corporation. In February 2008, he was transferred to the role of VP Human Resources at Eaton Corporation. There, he was responsible for the Human Resources Management of Eaton Corporation’s worldwide operations. Finally, from October 2013 until October of this year, he was the President of the Global HR Management Practice at law firm Witherspoon Godwin LLP.

David Brain's education has laid the foundation for his current work and career. He has studied at some of the most renowned universities in the world, and has learned from some of the most renown business professors.Upon finishing his education at Rice University, Brain was already well-prepared to start his career as a business consultant. He then transferred to the Jesse H. Jones Graduate School of Management at Michigan State University, where he completed his studies in the areas of Business Administration and Strategic Management. Upon his completion of his studies at Michigan State University, Brain was already an experienced business consultant and knew the inside scoop on the business world. This experience made him the perfect candidate for a new project that wasQUIREMENTS OF THE THE RESPONSIBLE ENTITIES involved in said project--a project that was to be carried out by a newly created company.Now that Brain has the knowledge and experience needed to carry out a project of this magnitude, he turned to the Michigan State University Business School to complete his R&D training in Business Innovation and Start-Up Management. In this training, Brain was not only able to learn about the latest business trends, but was also able to create and run a successful business experiment. This experience gave him the foundation he needs to start his own business and bring his innovative ideas to the market. Upon completion of his training at the Michigan State University Business School, Brain was then ready to start his own business. Brain would go on to start his own business, and bring his innovative ideas to the market.

As a CEO/President at DJB & Sons Inc. (ENZO'S ITALIAN RATIO), he drove the company from a small restaurant in Bonita Springs, FL to a world-renowned Italian restaurant. In his time at DJB, Brain developed a strong618 partnership with Enzo's Italian Ristorante, steering the business to continued success. He was alsoVP Human Resources at Eaton Corporation (ETN) during some of the most challenging times in its history, including the Company's reversal of fortune after the Great Recession.Outside of business, Brain is a dedicated volunteer with many organizations, including Arthritis Foundation, Make-A-Wish USA, and the Presbyterian Nursing Home Foundation. He has always been passionate about giving back, and his recent creations at the Presbyterian Nursing Home Foundation include the David Brain Foundation Scholarship Program and the Brain-Backed Scholarship.
