David Belanger has been teaching fifth- through eighth-grade history in the tri-state area since 1990. He earned his doctorate in history from Brown University in 1995.Belanger has taught at Saint John’s Prep, Nichols College, and Brown University. In his professorial role, he hasguided and enrichment programs for students in grades 8-12. He is a visiting professor at Syracuse University, Saint John’s University, and Keene State College.Belanger's teaching experience and background are extensive and reflect his interest in engaging students in the history curriculum. After studying accounting and financial planning at Northeastern, Belanger entered the accounting industry as an accountant. He worked for a number of large accounting firms before starting his own firm in 2001. In his time at his firm, Belanger has become well-known for his innovative and engaging accounting practices.Belanger is an expert in bookkeeping, auditing, and financial consulting. He has also developed a unique approach to accounting that has earned him a following among his clients. In his bookkeeping practice, Belanger emphasizes teamwork and creative problem-solving. He also advocates for using technology to streamline accounting processes. As a result, his clients often say that his approach to accounting is "abrupt but intelligent."Belanger also has a strong interpersonal skills.
