💼 Past Experience

David Barraclough was born in December of 1984 in the town of Scranton, PA. At the age of 14, Barraclough left home for college and started his journey in the world of designing. He attended the University of Pennsylvania studying Graphic Design and earned a Bachelors degree in 2006. After college, he worked for a few years in advertising and then moved to Los Angeles in 2007.There, he started his own design firm, which he called Design PlusUSA. He led the company for two years, until he resigned to start his own business, appthatfor.me. During that time, appthatfor.me developed a new type of 3D flooring that they call "Patent Pending". In March of 2014, he founded Create and Constuct, in Scottsdale, Arizona with Alex Uribe. It's an invitation-only company that creates customized kitchens and bathrooms under contract with high-end clients in the Los Angeles andPhoenix areas.David Barraclough has also worked extensively with precision sand making, and is proud to have developed the process with Quatz sand. He is excited to be working with Greg Polischuk of Design PlusUSA on the development of this new type of flooring. He believes that using resins and other materials to create surfaces that are beautiful, durable, clean, and have endless potential are the future of design.

🎓 Education

David Barraclough has had a variety of education that has helped him develop the professional skills and knowledge which he currently holds. His education started at Whitcliffmount Grammar School, where he studied from 1978 to 1982. At East Riding Collage of Further Education, he received his Bachelor of Arts (B.A.), Architectural and Building Sciences/Technology, 3.5 in 1982. David then spent three years working as an Architectural and Building Engineer with various companies, before finally settling down and working as an Architectural and Building Engineer with his current company, David Barraclough and Partners, for four years.As an Architectural and Building Engineer, David has worked on a wide range of projects, both large and small. Some of the largest projects that he has worked on include revamping a mental health centre in Bognor Regis, refurbishing a school in Masham, and expanding a business park in Salford. He has also worked on a number of smaller projects, such as renovating a home in Warrington and tinkering with a new water filtration system.David has a wealth of skills and knowledge which he has developed through his education. He is able to utilize his skills and knowledge to help clients achieve their goals. He is also veryienced and knowledgeable in his field, which has allowed him to provide excellent services to his clients. He is always willing to learn and improve his skills, so that he can provide even better services in the future.
