Chief Architect @ We make small investments in return for small stakes in the companies we fund.
All venture investors supply some combination of money and help. In our case the money is by far the smaller component. In fact, many of the startups we help don’t need money.
What happens at enounca? The most important thing we do is work with startups on their ideas. We’re hackers ourselves, and we’ve spent a lot of time figuring out how to make things people want. So we can usually see fairly quickly the direction in which a small idea should be expanded, or the point at which to begin attacking a large but vague one.
Though we work with all types of startups, we’re especially interested in web/mobile applications with a community focus; those that tap into the local community and enable local business as a stepping stone are especially of interest. We’ve been thinking about that problem for a long time, and by now, can visualize much of the space of possibilities. From July 2015 to Present (6 months) Founder & CEO @ Crucial Divide isn't a gaming company; We enable people to connect with others, explore the world about them and expand their horizons.
We provide a social vehicle that allows users to connect what they do, with who they are while playing with friends. We encourage and provide a way for them to explore where they are, where they have been and the places they love – with their computer and their smart phone. We encourage them to expand their horizons by connecting with new people, exploring the places around them in novel ways using augmented reality on their smart phone.
