I oversee GateHouse Media's print and digital content strategies, as well as the company's digital development, social media and online product strategy. GateHouse Media is one of the largest media publishers in the country. In 2014, I launched the Center for News & Design in Austin, Texas, which provides editing and design services for more than 175 GateHouse newspapers. The Center is the company's content and product development hub. I play a vital role with the company's communications strategy, providing direction and messaging for programs, decisions and initiatives. I have driven the company's brand forward through smart online content, active social media and various speaking engagements. During my more than 8 years with GateHouse Media, I have led programs that significantly increased our social media audiences, drove newspapers to write about more trending and socially-focused content categories, integrated reporter-produced video and developed a data-focused newsroom culture.
