Dave Plumer was born in 1973 in Scranton, PA and he has a B.A. from Union College in 1973. He then attended The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth from 1977 to 1979 and he obtained his MBA from The Tuck School of Business in 1979. From 1979 to 1983, he worked at Xerox PARC in Palo Alto, CA. during this time he also obtained his Australian Masters of Business Administration in 1983. From 1983 to 1987, he was a professor at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY. From 1987 to 1990, he was a professor at the University of Miami’s School of Business. From 1990 to1993, he was a professor at the University of Northern Iowa. From 1993 to1995, he was a professor at Northern Illinois University. From 1995 to1997, he was a professor at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis. From 1997 to1999, he was a professor at The Ohio State University. From 1999 to2003, he was a professor at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. From 2003 to2006, he was a professor at the University of Texas at Austin. From 2006 to2014, he was a professor at the University of Notre Dame. From 2014 topresent, he is a professor at the University of Pennsylvania.
