Dave Boyd's Educational BackgroundDave Boyd earned his AC/R service in September 1973 from the Milwaukee School of Engineering. He then spent two years in the United States Air Force, researching and developing high-intensity, short-range ballistic missiles.After his confinement period in the USAF, Boyd worked as anabailectronics engineer at Driggs Research and Development Ltd. in Aberdeen, Maryland until 1984. He then moved to Argonne National Laboratory in Argonne, Illinois, as a research associate in the ACR system engineering program, staying until 1986.Boyd then joined the technology staff of McDonnell Douglas, stationed in St. Louis, Missouri, from 1986 to 1992. He then moved back to Argonne as a research associate in the ACR system engineering program until 1994.Boyd is currently a research associate in the ACR system engineering program at Brookhaven National Laboratory.

Dave Boyd has over 20 years of sales and education experience in the ACR industry. As a VP Sales and Education at Appion Inc., he directed sales and education programs at international training companies, such as ATP and ECS. Dave has also held several executive positions in the ACR industry, most notably as President of Appion Inc. from January 1987 to May 1993. During his time at Appion Inc. he spearheaded the company’s growth and success, leading it to become a top player in the education market.Dave Boyd has a BS in education from Southern Illinois University Carbondale and a MS in education from University of Michigan.
