Senior Software Engineer @ Tesla Embedded Engineer @ Topcon Positioning Systems From June 2015 to March 2017 (1 year 10 months) Livermore, CASoftware Engineer @ Tesla Firmware Platforms Team From March 2017 to August 2018 (1 year 6 months) Palo Alto, CaliforniaUndergraduate Researcher (Vicon) @ UC Berkeley Undergraduate researcher for Professor Michel Maharbiz. I developed a real time algorithm to process a stream of position data from the Vicon system for apex and turn detection of locust flight in C++. I incorporated data visualization via Python scripts to aid in developing and assessing correctness of the algorithm. From November 2014 to May 2015 (7 months) Reader @ UC Berkeley Graded homework and exam materials for the UCB EEC125/215 Introduction to Robotics course. Also assisted in answering student questions on subject material. From September 2014 to December 2014 (4 months) Undergraduate Researcher (Robotics) @ UC Berkeley Undergraduate researcher for Professor Ruzena Bajcsy and graduate student Aaron Bestick. I worked with the BAXTER robot along with two other undergraduates in having the robot identify and model an object using vision, find points on the object to grasp, and lift the object and move it around while maintaining relative force closure on the object.Specifically, I focused on developing a process using BAXTER's arm cameras to sample images from various angles of a specific object, and applying a least-squares algorithm to estimate the object's coordinates relative to BAXTER's base frame using OpenCV, Python, and ROS. From February 2014 to May 2014 (4 months) EE40 Lab Assistant @ UC Berkeley Assisted lab instructor with helping students with their labwork for the UCB Introduction to Microelectronic Circuits and Devices course. Included debugging circuits and showing students features of electronic test equipment. From January 2014 to April 2014 (4 months) UC BerkeleyReader @ UC Berkeley Graded homework for the UCB EE40 Introduction to Microelectronic Circuits and Devices course. From August 2013 to December 2013 (5 months)
