Daniël analyzed the complete process and provided recommendations on optimizing the client logistic process in the clinical treatment ward at Jellinek. His recommendations were implemented by the management. This reduced turnaround time and increased the amount of treatments. From February 2011 to June 2011 (5 months) Amsterdam Area, NetherlandsInternship Business Process Improvement @ Daniël was part of a team that analyzed two lubricants plants of Total. They analyzed the production processes of the plant in Beverwijk (NL) and Baisieux (FR). The results of the investigation were used to define Key Performance Indicators. By defining these KPI’s, a mathematical formula derived that enabled Total to benchmark the two plants. From November 2010 to January 2011 (3 months) Internship Business Process Improvement @ Daniël analyzed the process of stocking spare parts in the depository of the Akzo Nobel Car Refinishes plant in Sassenheim, the Netherlands. By analyzing all the steps in the process, the SAP system and interviewing employees, he was able to provide recommendations on shortening the turnaround time of this process. He also investigated the track and trace system and determined improvements to this IT system. From February 2010 to June 2010 (5 months)
