Franklin has a vast experience in working with students with Limited English proficiency (LEP).Most notably, Daniel Franklin has been a Professor of Reading, Language, and Learning Disabilities and at UCLA from 1992-1996. In this position, he was responsible for teaching and researching undergraduate and graduate level courses in the field of Reading, Language, and Learning Disabilities. Additionally, he has been working as a consultant for various businesses and organizations since 1997.Since his time at UCLA, Franklin has also served as a visiting professor at Clemson University in 1996 and at Xavier University in 2000.
