Daniel Christian Wahl has over 15 years of experience working in the field of sustainable design and innovation. He has a background in sustainable development and sustainable business, having worked as a senior program consultant, research associate, and business development associate with organizations such as the International Programme in Innovation and Sustainability at Smart UIB, the International Futures Forum, and Gaia Education.He is also a founding director of Daniel Christian Wahl Sustainability Consultancy, which offers sustainable design and innovation consulting services. This consultancy has a focus on sustainable communities, food systems, and climate change mitigation, among other topics.Prior to his current appointment at Daniel Christian Wahl, Wahl was a senior program consultant at International Futures Forum, responsible for developing and leading programs in innovation and design for organizations such as the World Bank and the United Nations. Daniel Christian Wahl has a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Natural Design (Design for Sustainability) from the Centre for the Study of Natural Design (University of Dundee) under the guidance of Dr.Brian Cox. Daniels post-doctoral research focused on sustainable design and the methods for inspecting sustainable design from a robust sustainability perspective. This research included the development of sustainable design assessors and the use of using a sophisticated soil simulator to study the effects of various input constraints on sustainable design.Since leaving the University of Dundee, Daniel has worked as a research assistant at the Schumacher College & Plymouth University Environmental Science Department (Environmental Science Department), where he held the post of Research Assistant in 2001. He then worked as a Research Associate at the University of Edinburgh, where he held the post of Research Assistant in the Environmental Science Department from January 2002 to January 2002.From January 2006 to January 2007, Daniel worked as a Lecturer in the Design for Sustainability Course at the Centre for the Study of Natural Design (University of Dundee). This course offered the students a research-based, hands-on experience with sustainable design.Since leaving the University of Dundee, Daniel Christ Wahl has worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Edinburgh, where he held the post of Research Assistant in the Environmental Science Department from January 2002 to January 2002. He then worked as a Lecturer in the Design for Sustainability Course at the Centre for thestudy of Natural Design (University of Dundee).
