I have always been fascinated with interactive advertising. Whether it’s a direct mail piece with a die cut fold-out revealing additional information, a banner ad that engages users to play with an object in it, or a parallax website that entices users to scroll to animate it; any ad that gets people to reach out and touch it and manipulate it in a relevant way is to me a success. People learn more and become more invested when they’re invited to be a part of something. And that’s what interactive advertising does. It’s inviting the viewer to have a personal experience with a brand, creating a connection and allowing them to better retain the information they’re given. And it’s fun!
