Casselberry interned for the Texas Legislature from 1984-1986, when he was a senior in college. As a result, during his earlier educational experiences, Casselberry developed an understanding of political process and the Legislature's role in that process. Casselberry's current educational experience includes a period of time as an undeclared student at the University of Texas at Austin, where he is currently enrolled in a masters program in Education Policy Studies. While at the University of Texas at Austin, Casselberry also completed a 1-year stint as a teaching intern in the Department of Political Science at the university.In his previous years of education, Casselberry has experience in government and public policy, classroom teaching, and policy analysis.
