I have an extremely strong background in HSEQ integrated Management Systems and performing senior managerial roles with the ability to function at either Corporate or internationally remote Project locations. Significant areas of expertise and career achievements include the development, implementation,and review of HSE management strategic plans, policies and procedures, and enterprise wide risk management frameworks, that achieve and maintain accreditation to OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 and meet the requirements of ISO 31000 across global industry sectors.
As a result, appropriately identified key strategic objectives, targets and milestones, once fully implemented, have successfully and significantly, reduced industry lag indicators and improved key performance lead indicators in relation to corporate governance, operational risk and HSEQ targets.
Head of QEHS - Asia Pacific and China @ Internal promotion with responsibility of the Asia Pacific and China Region for QEHS as part of the Operational Excellence Team.
Responsible to embed the Outotec QEHS Management System and Product Compliance Management System (including process safety) into India, China and North Asia Market Areas as well as providing continuous improvement and industry best practice initiatives as part of business growth strategy into the Region.

Lead the Product Compliance Management team in all facets of process safety and product life cycle from design to installation, commissioning, operation and maintenance. From March 2013 to March 2014 (1 year 1 month) HSE Manager @ The position led the Global HSE function, provided strategic guidance and functional HSE leadership across all domestic and international Regions in all facets of Corporate, Projects and Operations with a mentoring role into the American, African, and Asian Regions.
Specific achievement was the development and implementation of the COMPASS Safety Framework bringing together the elements of Leadership, Behaviours and Systems to drive continuous improvement in culture and performance.
Projects: Boseto Copper - Botswana ($120M); Daunia CHPP - Bowen Basin ($140M); Energy Resources - UHG Mongolia ($75M) From June 2011 to October 2012 (1 year 5 months) Corporate HSE Assurance Manager @ Short term contract project to manage a small team of pivotal HSE practitioners to develop and implement key components of an effective HSE assurance programme through all aspects of the business.
Developed and implemented Contractor HSE Management Program which included all key HSE components, requirements and stages of contract life cycle. From January 2011 to June 2011 (6 months) Group HSE, Compliance and Operational Risk Manager @ Responsible for providing executive HSEC direction, frameworks, strategies and continuous improvement processes to successfully progress the compliance, operational risk, HSEC, and governance programme forward, directly influencing corporate performance and providing HSE leadership at all levels of the business.
Develop, implement, facilitate, and deliver, Transpacific Industries Group Ltd’s diverse operational risk management systems, strategies, policies, and initiatives for corporate governance and statutory compliance requirements to relevant areas of the Group in Australia, New Zealand and Asia Pacific that will support growth and promote a risk aware culture.
