Cory moved to White Plains, New York in 1992 and graduated from White Plains High School in 1997. Cory then attended Amherst College, where he received a B.S. in 2009. Cory then attended Schenectady Institute of Technology, where he received a Master of Science in 2011. Cory then attended Johnson Controls, Inc. where he received a Master of Science in Process Technology in 2013.
