Born and raised in the South Bay section of contribution to Los Angeles, Corey Michael Blake is a self-taught storyteller, artist, and founder and CEO of Round Table Companies, a publishing house where he teaches writers and artists how to write and produce their own work. Corey Michael Blake’s professional debut was as the creator of the RTC’s Storytelling Course, a five-day course that teacheswriters and artists how to craft stories that plant seed in readers’ brains. Corey Michael Blake has an undergraduate degree from Gestalt Institute of Cleveland in Gestalt Therapy and a bachelors degree in Theatre from Millikin University in 1992-1996. Corey's work experience includes two years at Stagen Leadership Academy,where he was the Kiado Award-winning director of the Blackbelt program, and one year as a theatre major at Millikin University where he directed the theatre department's play, "India." Corey has since worked as an event planner, coordinator and data entry engineer for a variety of small businesses and nonprofits.

With over 10 years of experience in the publishing industry, Corey has developed a wealth of knowledge and understanding of the publishing process. In January 2004, Corey also partnered with LA Film Lab Entertainment, working on developing and distributing shorts and movies in the LA film industry. From January 2000 to January 2003, Corey also served as President/Owner at Elevation 9000 Films.
