Currently, I lead a company called Enertiv that is empowering people to make smarter energy decisions in buildings, by making energy usage 100% transparent, and providing insights and recommendations on how to be more energy efficient.
Co-Founder, CEO @ Enertiv is a leading energy data and analytics company based in New York City. The company specializes in the collection, visualization and analysis of real-time energy data in commercial, multi-family and industrial buildings. Using a combination of proprietary meters and sensors, as well as by integrating with existing building systems, Enertiv makes real-time energy consumption in buildings 100% transparent from the building level, down to the equipment-level, and provides highly actionable insights to help clients save money and save energy. The company has developed a powerful software suite which enables real-time energy management, measurement & verification for retrofit projects and tenant billing and engagement. The company works with family owned portfolios as well as Fortune 500 clients. Enertiv's technology has been deployed both nationally and internationally, and the company was recently named one of the Top Energy Analytics Companies to Watch in 2015. From September 2009 to Present (6 years 4 months) Co-Founder & CEO at Enertiv @ Led Enertiv during the R/GA + Techstars Connected Devices Accelerator program. We were 1 of 10 companies selected for the program's inaugural class out of several hundred companies globally. During the program we launched new hardware and software products, expanded our team from 5 to 10 members, dramatically increased number of systems in our sales pipeline, established key channel partners, expanded internationally, and secured funding to support our growth. I presented our business to several hundred investors and members of the press at the SXSWi and Techstars NYC Demo Day. Following these events Enertiv was featured in articles from BetaBeat, Crain's New York and the New York Business Journal. From November 2013 to March 2014 (5 months) Greater New York City AreaProject Manager @ NECG is a top-notch strategic management and marketing consulting firm that offers a range of growth oriented services to C-level executives at Fortune 500 companies. As Project manager I was actively involved in every stage of the client engagements, from gathering information and analyzing data to developing solutions to the client's problems and presenting recommendations to CEO's and CMOs. I worked on small teams (3-4 partners, 1 project manager) for companies including Pfizer, Reynolds, McDonald’s, Syngenta, Bayer and the National Restaurant Association. I also worked closely with the NECG's CEO, leading a new business initiative, selling $500,000+ engagements to executives you read about every day.
