Product Design Manager at MetaIndustry of Internet Cole Nelson is currently a Design at First Round Capital. For three years, Cole was a product design manager at Meta, responsible for developing high-quality products for their clients.Cole has also worked at CloudKitchens for two years as a design leader. At CloudKitchens, Cole saw a need for a customer-centric design environment, and this led to Cole’s first design victory in three years. In March of 2020, Cole was promoted to lead product design at HopSkipDrive, a company that specializes in delivery trucks.All in all, it is safe to say that Cole has a deep background in product design and product optimization, which would serve him well in his new role at NEXT Trucking. NEXT Trucking is a leading transporter company, and Cole will be working on developing a new product line that’s sure to impress his clients.

🎓 Education

Cole Nelson attended Y Combinator, a startup accelerator, for his undergraduate work. There, he studied software engineering, working on projects such as a light control application and a tool for debugging web applications. Nelson then transferred to Boston University to complete his graduate work, studying software engineering and cognitive science. In his graduate work, he focused on understanding how people learn and use software engineering tools. Nelson's ultimate goal was to study how best to groom the next generation of engineers.
