Enterprise Systems Engineer @ Software developer for the systems that directly impact and drive the work of the Sales, Marketing, and Business Development teams. Our team architects and implements solutions that are technically scalable and user-friendly. Much of our work is done on the Force.com platform, but we combine and integrate numerous systems to run our enterprise technology stack.
Direct responsibilities include owning the full stack of systems driving the lead matching, quoting, approval, and data management.
I also took on an official side project for the Platform Engineering team that will enhance and smoothen Box’s OAuth2 flow and user experience.
Additional side projects include a hackathon project that used machine learning to predict data quality and building Python convenience tools for search queries and testing.
Some of my specific projects included writing crawl scripts to gather data from other APIs, building the full stack implementation of the Groups feature, enhancing the typeahead and algorithm for user search results, using language processing to match users with descriptions, and building administrator tools to make it easier to invite, add, and provision a new user to the site. Utilized cross-functional resources to achieve delivery of market leading solutions. Lead the product line through entire life cycle from conception to post-release.
My specific responsibilities dealt with organizing requirements and project timelines for operating system releases in Germany, Brazil, and China. In doing so I was the leader of numerous meetings, phone calls. I also authored an internal competitive analysis presentation that was distributed throughout the company. My smaller projects included enhancing internal documentation for products and processes, starting a repository for UI artifacts to help engineers, and authoring a requirements document for how the company should leverage its data into an analytics platform (which I eventually was able to present about to the COO and CFO).
