Hello and thank you for reading my profile. I am Claire Spillane and for over 20 years I have worked at Westermans International, a British family owned company founded by my Father, Peter Westerman in the early 1960's. My job role is varied from Finance to Marketing as we are a small family firm but I concentrate more on business development and the commercial side of the company. I definitely keep well away from Sales and Buying and leave that to the professionals!! I have great team of people working alongside me and appreciate their dedication and loyalty. It means we are involved in a company we can all be really proud of and enjoy our work. The welding and fabrication industry covers many sectors including Renewable Energy, Food Processing, Defence, Aerospace, Marine, Construction and Mining to name a few. We therefore have years of experience and truly feel we can give unbiased advice on the best welding equipment for a particular application. As members of the EAMTM and MDNA, we work closely with European and USA Machine Tool dealers and can complete factory buy outs or source machine tools for most metal working and heavy industries. I continue to promote our range of new, used and refurbished welding equipment, concentrating on supplying the customer value for money industrial machinery whilst offering a fully support after-sales service with a complete choice of brands and models. Sourcing used welding equipment from around the world is a full time job. The company has been recycling welders now for over 40 years and have a sustainable business for which we are very proud of. Founded by my Father, Peter Westerman back in the 1960's we understand and follow the trends that develop in emerging Industries and Countries.
