He was the founder and CEO of two obscure fitness startups- one in Memphis and one in San Diego. In each instance, Chuck left the startups after only a year because he couldn't agree with the direction or programmatic strategy. Chuck learned this hard lesson the hard way- he was canned from both startups after giving them four years of development. Chuck ran his skin off during those four years, but that's only the start of his problem. Chuck was founded as a CEO because he had a great idea- not because he was a great leader or developer.Chuck Runyon'sfailed startups provide an ilk of experience with which to develop anything outside of thefitness industry.
