About Christopher Grant

📖 Summary

I have more than 14 years of experience working within software development and mobile devices in multi-national and multi-site environments. Having mostly been working within international customer support organizations the last eight years – developing software, troubleshooting, finding solutions and customizing embedded mobile phone software, including LTE – I’m used to cooperate and communicate with people of different nationalities, cultures, roles and responsibilities. Many times the support has involved travelling to customer sites, mainly in USA, China and Japan. Especially on site the work has many times included supporting project management, by coordinating with team members to implement solutions for critical tasks, removing hurdles and explaining next steps forward, as well as communicating requirements, risk and solutions. It’s a great feeling to see customer products released on the market and knowing that I have contributed to it. I have also been working with the development and troubleshooting of browser and real-time software solutions, some UI development and implementation of web applications as well as designing web pages and implementing embedded applications. My technical experience stems a diversity of projects both within mobile telephony and within other areas, such as Web development, Javascript and Smart Card technology. My core experience is with C for embedded systems but I also have some experience in object oriented design techniques and patterns. Due to the nature of some of the assignments I have had I have also gathered excellent troubleshooting skills. I’m well familiar with concepts and techniques within cellular chipsets and browsers. I also have an open passion for learning new techniques. I have my roots in both Sweden and USA. I was born in USA but came to Sweden as a child and grew up in Malmö, Sweden. I'm currently living in Staffanstorp, Sweden and I'm fluent in both Swedish and English.Software Developer @ Product development of micro services and web applications for a Business support system (BSS) based on a Tibco fulfillment order management system (FOM) for Telecom operators.
