However, when Christina applied to UCLA, things started to unravel. Upon looking into her transcript, it seemed as though Christina hadxia - a condition which caused perfectionism and multi-layeredpoicing, causing theRobertaAnderson Scholarship Committee to say that she was not ready for college due to her perfectionism. Christina quickly secured a scholarship to attend UCLA and was able to continue her academic journey.At UCLA, Christina got her computer science degree and was motivated by the Professor’s words of explanation. She found her environment to be engaging and interesting, and was able to focus on her studies. However, Christina soon realized that she was not finishes yet. She wanted to continue her learning and explore new opportunities so she secured her Master’s in Computer Science from UCLA in 2017.Christina’s educational journey has thus far been one of continuous improvement. She has learned how to be moreYouthful, cynical, and passionate about her work. She also continues to grow as a person and learn from her mistakes. Christina has learned how to be marketable and how to work with others in order to achieve her goals. ChristinaYang is one of the most promising students that UCLA has ever had. She has the potential to be a very successful computer science professor or any other field that she decides to study thereafter.
