Web applications should offer data in such a way that it is easy to find the information the users are looking for. A good tool should not only perform its task in a correct and secure manner, it should also be easy to use and understandable without the need to read enormous manuals. I like to develop user interfaces which reflect the user’s expectations, when they start using the application, as closely as possible. During my education, I learned to pay attention to the security of applications and keeping the privacy of the users in mind. The main product is a management application, which is used to measure, track and manage CO2 emissions and other CSR related indicators. I am working on the main application, performing bug fixes or maintenance and designing and implementing new features. From July 2015 to Present (6 months) Nijmegen Area, NetherlandsSoftware Engineer, PHP Developer @ Hexon B.V. is a ICT company which specializes in the automotive branch. The main products of Hexon focus on connecting advertising portals for second hand cars and machines (Marktplaats, autoscout24, autotrack, autotrader etc.), such that dealers only had to enter the specifications of a vehicle once. Hexon distributes all those advertisements to all the different portals. Most of the time, I worked on the Hexon Stocklist module, which enabled the dealers to present their stock on their own website. Customers of the dealer could conveniently browse through the cars that were available, on desktop or mobile devices. From July 2011 to July 2015 (4 years 1 month) Employee Catering Service @ Maldensteijn is the cultural center of my home town, Malden. Besides the rental of meeting rooms, Maldensteijn also had a function as a theater. My job was mainly being a barkeeper before, during and after a theater show or during parties. Sometimes, the events included a lunch or a dinner, which I helped preparing. Besides that, I also helped out when the permanent staff was unable to work a shift. This meant that I performed some more facility manamagent related tasks.
