Chris Vagenas has more than 8 years of experience in technical recruiting, HR, and accounting. He was recently a technical recruiter at Disney Streaming Services, where he was responsible forbi-weekly meetings with VP of Engineering and his team of 6 Directors to strategize on new initiatives, set goals, and stay aligned. He also inherited 2 niche roles on the Site Reliability Team – filled roles in 1 month and 3 months respectively. On top of this, he was responsible for filling 16 engineering roles for a high priority ADK project – there were 40 roles total for this initiative. These efforts are being reviewed weekly by DSS President and other members of leadership.Chris is also a consultant with accounting reports analyst at Oce Printing Systems. He earned his accounting degree from the University of Hartford in Connecticut in 2011. He was responsible for designing and executing on recruiting strategies to identify and engage both active and passive talent candidates utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter, HIRED, Vettery, and other platforms. He was also a consultant for Tangoe, where he is responsible for accounting reports analyst. His mission is to provide quality diverse Pipeline for active roles, as well as actively networking and establishing strong relationships with candidates and organizations. He has also partnered with attendees, managers/leadership, and other HR employees to increase the brand recognition of Disney Streaming Services.
