During my time working here, I also underwent a successful business change project that helped increase donation rates by around 20%. I was also awarded with the 2013 leading fundraiser award from the University Management School coupled with holding the record for the largest gift ever received of $10000. From October 2012 to June 2014 (1 year 9 months) Liverpool, United KingdomCamp Counsellor @ My Summer Role during my time as a Camp Counsellor provided me with a lot of responsibility in terms of having to achieve various qualifications in order to become a trip leader. I am Wilderness First Aid Trained, Water Safety qualified and have also passed my Trip Leader qualification. Whilst at camp I was in charge of leading trips, with group sizes between 3-6 for 4 days at a time into the wilderness, with the campers enjoyment being the main priority. This enabled me to improve communication, negotiation and leadership skills . Children aged between 9-15 were reliant on me being professional and experienced in what I was instructing them to do, whilst ensuring they also enjoyed themselves. Other responsibilities whilst at camp included assisting the rebranding of The Flying Moose Lodge Camp to help attract new campers and continue the camps future. I along with another counsellor were asked to produce a new feature video for the camp to promote it in the forthcoming summer. Whilst working for camp, I completed a 13day 200mile wilderness canoe trip with a group of 6 15 year old counsellors, which was totally outside my comfort zone and meant I had to adapt to a variety of different situations during this period. From June 2013 to August 2013 (3 months) Bangor, Maine AreaReferee @ During this my time in this role, I was accepted onto the Referees School of Excellence and often officiated in Academy Matches and Cup Semi Finals. My time in this role aided my communication, teamwork and professionalism.
