CHRIS DUCKER'S LIFE STORY:I was born and raised in the town of Hebron, CT. When I was 8 years old, my family moved to Framingham, MA. I entered the high school in Framingham where I played football, basketball, baseball and soccer. I played in and around town, but my favorite sport was track. I set the state record in the long jump and the high jump at the local talent festival. I was also a scholar-athlete and a team captain in high school. I attended college for a year before transferring to the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. I played football and soccer for the Amherst Hatters, but my favorite sport was track. I set a state record in the 100 Meter dash and the shot put at the NCAA championships. I was then transferred to the Home Depot where I worked for 4 years. I then worked for 2 years at Kohl's where I was a Sr. District Manager. I then became a Senior District Manager at Kohl's in Washington D.C. Metro Area.I also spent 2 years at Duke Energy Corporation in Charlotte, North Carolina where I was a Salaried Executive Manager. I was then a Regional Director at The Home Depot in Mid-Atlantic. Regional Director responsible for Sales, Operations, Asset Protection & Safety of $4.7B Mid-Atlantic market. (91 Stores across DE/PA/MD/DC/VA). Regional Operations at Kohl's from April 2016 to March 2020 (4 years) in Chicago, Mid-Atlantic. Omni Channel and Brick & Mortar Operations: Member of cross functional operations team tasked with developing, piloting and deploying B&M execution strategies across the stores organization utilizing cutting edge technology and updated processes to improve operational efficiency and productivity.Successfully piloted and launched company wide enhanced Omni-channel & fulfillment processes significantly improving revenue, operational KPIs (speed & accuracy), profitability and customer satisfaction.
