Combined long-term strategy with short-term actions to give a competitive edge. Examples include strategic use of enhanced, versus traditional sitelinks by time, and cross-brand strategy. 2. Worked with our media agency on Multi-Variant tests within the booking engine of our Jetparks brand. 3. Improved CPA and Cost of Sale in line with trading targets across all sites. 4. Developed and implemented plans to bring down CPCs in an inflating market e.g. dynamic keyword insertion on landing pages, ad relevance and reviewing position across all available segments and dimensions. 5. Developed a robust RLSA plan that combined multiple lists in to a single strategy. One example was shifting spend from users we identified as being early in the research funnel, and shifting it to users at the end of the funnel, thereby 'stealing' sales at the right time. 6. Improved daily and weekly reporting processes, ensuring the traders and marketing teams had access to everything they required. Brought in bidding software which reduced time and enabled bidding across publishers. 4. Developed robust processes with Trading for PPC and PLA. 5. Introduced new attribution thinking - took in to account funnels, day of click vs. day of purchase, cross-device, and factored in new customer registrations as a value in GPOAS. 6. Transformed promoted social platforms from tiny, brand-awareness tools, to serious revenue-driving channels that overtook search engine ads in terms of spend / revenue. 7. Spoke about our success as part of a fireside chat with Twitter's Head of Travel, Mike de Jesus. See: I was promoted from PPC Executive in April 2014. From September 2013 to November 2014 (1 year 3 months) Manchester, United KingdomPaid Channels Executive @ Surfdome is a much loved online lifestyle and fashion retailer. Paid search accounted for between 30-40% of Surfdome's daily traffic. I was involved with the day-to-day management of various paid channels, including search. From July 2012 to August 2013 (1 year 2 months) London, United KingdomMarketing Management @ I put to good use my skills in print, programming, design and broader digital management This position was segmented as I spent time broadening my horizons and marketing experience by obtaining temporary work in Australia. From June 2010 to July 2012 (2 years 2 months) Contracted Field Salesman @ A temporary role whilst in Australia. I worked as a contractor to sell a state government incentive, convincing dubious, unconvinced householders to install free energy-saving powerboards in their home. I put to excellent use my selling skills to produce far greater than average sales. I was succesful in delivering the message that this was a free government incentive which would save the householder money, and help the environment. 'Hit rates' equalled about 50% generating large profits for the company, and myself from the carbon-credits system. From January 2012 to March 2012 (3 months) Marketing Agent @ A temporary role (whilst travelling) working on numerous marketing campaigns. Assignments involved attendance-drives for corporate functions and events. I was also responsible for database-building and cleansing for clients targeting service-industry professionals and top-tier management.
