Work experiences surrounding the field of epigenetics and human disease:Chloe Rivera has completed a thesis project on the epigenomic, transcriptional, and nuclear architecture landscapes of myeloid leukemia and embryonic stem cell lines (via ChIP-seq, RNA-seq, and HiC) to predict transcriptional enhancer elements genome-wide. Chloe Rivera also validated predicted transcriptional enrichment and enhancer target genes and regulatory element chromatin interactions with CRISPR-mediated genome engineering.
