💼 Past Experience

Pursuing a career in human resources would always meant a journey away from my home country of America. After leaving my illustrious job at Drake Beam Morin, I spent my years writing grants and articles on the future of work. It was during this time that I met many of the same people who would become some of my biggest clients. Talking to them about their careers and Project ranges alike, I was quickly able to see that the field of human resources was constantly changing and evolving.Looking back on my time as an executive vice president at Drake Beam Morin, it was a time when several changes were taking place in the human resources industry. The first was the implementation of the latest employee benefits programs. The second was the growth of the outsourcing industry. And the third was the growth of the digital world.However, my time at Drake Beam Morin was not the only time I had worked in the human resources field. I also worked as a director (independent) at Motivis Learning in Salem, NH. There, I also grew to know many of the people who would become some of my biggest clients. I spoke with them about their careers and Project ranges alike, and I was quickly able to see that the field of human resources was constantly changing and evolving.Looking back on my time as a director (independent) at Motivis Learning, it was a time when several changes were taking place. The first was the implementation of the latest employee benefits programs. The second was the growth of the outsourcing industry. And the third was the growth of the digital world.However, my time at Motivis Learning was not the only time I had worked in the human resources field. I also worked as a board member, speaker, and consultant at the Human Resources environment. In this role, I worked on a variety of different projects and represented the interests of my clients and myself.Since joining the executive team at UnitedMetrics in February of 2016, I have seen the industry go through several large changes. For one, the technology industry has come a long way. We have seen the industry shift from a reliance on paper and pencil charts to software and computer algorithms. And with this shift, there has been an increase in the use of artificial intelligence in the human resources industry.Looking back on my time at UnitedMetrics, it was a time when we saw some of the biggest changes take place in the human resources industry. For one, we saw the implementation of the latest employee benefits programs. Secondly, we saw the growth of the outsourcing industry. And finally, we saw the growth of the digital world.But my time at UnitedMetrics is not the end. My goal is to continue working with UnitedMetrics and help drive the industry forward. I think this is the best path for the industry and I believe that UnitedMetrics is the only place that can help the human resources field achieve its full potential.

China Gorman has a Background in Organizational Development and B.A. from Principia College in 1974. She then studied English/Drama at Principia College in 1978. She has held various corporate positions and a position as a Lecturer in English at Guangxu Normal University from 2001 to 2003.China Gorman is currently a Lecturer in English at Guangxu Normal University. She has a past background in Organizational Development, which has given her the opportunity to develop her senses of problem solving andthroughout her career as an instructor and researcher. She has also gained a strong understanding of the different teaching staff in different faculties at Guangxu Normal University.
