Chaz Perera has a BBA from Villanova University in 1998. He then pursuing his education at Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley, where he earned his J.D. in 2002. After completing his education and working on his law license, he moved to New York, where he became an associate at the law firm of prominent Stamford, Conn. lawyer Julius Rosenfeld.After years of work and legal experience in the New York City legal market, in 2015, Chaz Perera was named a Managing Partner at Rosenfeld & Katz. During his time as Managing Partner at Rosenfeld & Katz, he has developed a reputation in the legal community as a lead counsel and advisor on a wide range of real estate, business, and antitrust transactions.Chaz Perera’s experience and legal knowledge have landed him several notable legal wins, including an important victory for the New York City Crime Victims Fund in a case against the landlord of a Housing Authority building that had become a magnet for serial thiefs. What made you decide to pursue a career in technology?I have always been interested in technology and the potential it has to improve the way people live and work. When I was a kid, I would always watch sci-fi movies and see the futuristic buildings and equipment. I started to believe that technology could help make these things a reality.What do you like best about your current role at Roots Automation?I love working at Roots Automation because we constantly innovate and work on new ways to help our clientsWS.
