From September 2011 to April 2013 (1 year 8 months) Account Executive/ Head of Battlespace- HP ES Defence & Security @ Overall managment and responsibility for the HP Defence & Security Battlespace Account which provided both application and infrastructure services integral to the UK MOD C4ISTAR Capability- ie. JOCS, CSS, Overtask, J1/J4, legacy C2 application management, development and migration programmes, including JC2SP and OCIS. Responsibilities included managing a staff of approx 300, general business management, financial management, contract/ commercial negotiation and business development. Reporting into the CEO of the ATLAS Consortium this included P&L responsibility. From January 2010 to September 2011 (1 year 9 months) Client Delivery Executive- UK MOD (CJO TLB)- HP ES Defence & Security @ The principle owner of the HP Defence & Security relationship with the CJO TLB (PJHQ & PJOBS) for all of the services HP & the ATLAS Consortium provided to this customer- DII F, JOCS, CSS, J1/J4, Overtask etc. Responsibilities included managment/ oversight of all services that HP delivered into the CJO TLB aswell as all business development activity. From January 2008 to January 2010 (2 years 1 month) Consultant- HP ES/ EDS EMEA Consulting Services @ Business process transformation consulting. Clients included- UK MOD, UK MOJ, Rolls Royce, Vodafone and several internal departmental business transformation programmes. From June 2007 to January 2008 (8 months) Global Account Manager- ABB @ Jointly closed the sale on this large multi-million Dollar contract with ABB for turn-key security services in Iraq as part of the US Government development programme. Responsibilities included contract management, delivery and growth on a global basis- directly responsible for doubling the size of the contract and signing of several others- this included geographically extending our security service provision to Afghanistan. From January 2005 to June 2007 (2 years 6 months) Head of Business Development @ Managed the business development activities of the UK 'Land Department'. This key department won in excess of $30 Mil worth of contracts in the highly competitive post-conflict and UK homeland security markets. Responsibilities included the management of the business development team, development of new clients, public and private sector client management, developing partnering agreements with defence industry multinational, innovation- product conception and development, contract negotiation and contract management. From June 2004 to June 2007 (3 years 1 month) Commissioned Officer- The Household Cavalry (The Life Guards) @ Worked in a variety of progressive roles including the HR and Project Management for overseas operations, exercises and major ceremonial events. Further responsibilities included commanding all British Army Assets in North Wales during the Foot & Mouth crisis, working for NATO in Bosnia in a multi national post conflict environment, the British Government in Armagh and South Armagh, Northern Ireland and being deployed for a year on Loan Service to the Government of Sierra Leone. From January 1994 to January 2004 (10 years 1 month) Second In Command- 4th Infantry Battalion Sierra Leone Armed Forces @ Posted to work and train with 4th Infantry Battalion of the Sierra Leone Armed Forces on Loan Service who were actively re-establishing control of the country from the Revolutionary United Front (RUF). Responsibilities included Sierra Leone Government Ministerial level briefings, coordinating operations etc with UNAMSIL (UN troops in Sierra Leone) and NGOs- MSF etc, training and working with the Battalion in extremely hostile conditions. During my time in Sierra Leone 4 Bn had re-established control over many of the northern regions of the country, which incuded reclaiming the northern borders from the Republic of Guinea Armed Forces.
